Impala Hydro-Boost / Master Cylinder / Prop. Valve Combo. Our Hydro-Boost operates without the need for vacuum. It uses your power steering pump to provide assist and mounts in the stock location between the firewall and your master cylinder like a vacuum booster. This unit typically puts out 1300 psi at the wheels to a maximum of 1600 psi. On a full size vehicle, disc brakes need approx 1500 psi for maximum braking.
